A
native of Macon,
GA., White-Colbert is
a graduate of the
University of
Georgia and
Mercer University School of Law. She is a member of the Macon Bar Association,
the Education First Board of Directors and the State
Bar of Georgia Editorial Board just to name a
few.
White-Colbert
has been practicing law with the
Macon – Bibb
County District Attorney’s Office in the areas of
domestic violence and major felonies for 19 years. She helped found
and was the initial court prosecutor for
Drug
Court. She believes in
justice for all and is a committed litigator who has
tried hundreds of trials, hearings and motions. “I will bring
fairness, patience, and a love of the law to the bench,”
she says.
She does not believe in “cookie cutter justice”
but justice that reflects on the particular individual and
their case.
White-Colbert is married to the Reverend Marvin
Colbert and they have two children, Shannon and
Marshall.
Her hobbies are reading and shopping. She and her
family attend Greater Turner Tabernacle
AME
Church.
