A
Texas man in the
process of relocating to
Georgia is celebrating
a half-million dollar Georgia Lottery win. Paul Frear
played Jumbo Jumbo Bucks and won the instant game’s
$500,000 top prize.
Friendly
Express #0052, located at
3601 Frederica
Rd. on
St.
Simons
Island , sold the
winning ticket. Frear scratched his ticket at the
store.
“I
had to show it to the clerk because I couldn’t believe
it,” he says. “She was more excited than I was, so I
knew it was good news.”
Frear works as
a supervisor for an architectural millwork company. The
San
Antonio resident has
been on a long-term work assignment in
Glynn
County . He currently
stays on Sea
Island and plans to
relocate to Georgia
within a few months.
According to
Frear, he’ll use his Georgia Lottery winnings to pay
bills and to help with his move to
Georgia . “I’ll also
probably buy a new vehicle,” he
adds.
