Alpha's Making A Difference In The Community

For over 50 years the Epsilon Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. has presented the most promising young ladies in the Middle Georgia Area in The Cotillion Ball. The Ball has served as a show case for accomplished young ladies who strive to pursue academic excellence and scholarship. The Debutantes participate in various programs and activities that are designed to teach them how to market and prepare themselves for the college experience and their future career fields. The ladies are taught valuable social and life skills including etiquette, oral communications, interpersonal skills, self awareness and community service.

The Debutants and Junior Debutant for the 2009 Cotillion Ball Include: Shania Chambliss a Westside High School junior, Elyse Crawford a Northeast High School senior, Crystal Fuller a Howard High School junior, Tekeria Gallemore a Southwest High School sophomore, Jazmine Moore a Central High School junior, Christian Patterson a Central High Scholl  junior, Emerald Scott a Central High School senior, JaKecia Smith a Southwest High School junior, Ashley Stubbs a Rutland High School sophomore, JuanTierra Thomas a Northeast High School senior, Terraney Timothy a Central High School  senior, Vicquera Webb a Jones County High School  junior, Phylicia Wimberly a Central High School senior, Charmaine Woody a Central High School  junior and Junior Debutant Tyra Tate a Mount de Sales Academy 7th grader.

The Cotillion Ball 2009 will begin at 7:00 PM on June 6, 2009 at the Macon City Auditorium located on 415 1st Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Tickets may be purchased for $10.00 in advance and on the night of the event. Attire for this occasion is semi- formal.
