First-Class
Wildcat Stamp Goes On Sale
|
Fort
Valley
State
University’s
Wildcat trademark is going international, thanks to a
limited-edition first-class
U.S.
postage stamp that went on
sale December
11, 2007.
Wildcat
fans can purchase a sheet of 20 stamps for $20 on a
first-come, first-serve basis. All proceeds will go
toward building a stronger FVSU.
“FVSU is
lighting the path for others by raising awareness about
our university,” says Rodell Lawrence, FVSU’s director
of development. “The stamp is a powerful symbol that
will be seen internationally. When you send out mail, it
is a way to show Wildcat pride.”
Alumni,
students or Wildcat fans can purchase stamps through
FVSU’s Foundation Office or at its Public Service Center
located in downtown
Fort
Valley’s
Evans
Building.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash, checks, credit
cards and money orders.
