Macon Man Finds Wealth In Travel Business

By Amanda Smith

An $800,000 home in Middle Georgia, a brand new Cadillac Escalade, and a pool being dug in your backyard, complete with a fountain and tunnels. Sound like something from a fairy tale? Not for Jerome Hughes.

Jerome Hughes' $800,000 home

Hughes has found tremendous wealth in just 3 years with his home-based travel business, YTB (Your Travel Biz). After struggling for 17 years in various entrepreneurial endeavors with business partner Katrina Greenhill, Hughes hit the jackpot with YTB. The partners went from making barely $500 a month to an easy hundred grand every 30 days and it’s truly an amazing success story. “I remember when Jerome and Katrina were struggling with several different companies,” said Herbert Dennard, Publisher of The Georgia Informer. “But the two of them had strong determination to succeed, even when they had failed in the past. They never gave up.”

Hughes recently bought an RV wrapped in YTB advertising, complete with a double bed in the back. His Jacuzzi tub, sports room, and 20 seat movie theater in his home are luxuries that are sure signs that whatever he’s doing, it’s working. " I don't have to worry about finding deals on things anymore; I can literally buy any car or house I want," said Hughes. "When you make the type of income we're making, it's too much to pass up."

From humble beginnings, Hughes has always been interested in multi-level marketing and had tried to make his breakthrough with several different businesses in the past. A member of St. Paul AME Church in Macon for over 10 years, he struggled in the past when he could only tithe $10 on Sundays. These days, he is able to aid his church and community in many ways, striving to make a difference for others less fortunate. “Jerome is an inspirational story; he experienced rough times and still held onto his faith, which consequently propelled him to the stage in life he is in now,” said Rev. Ron Slaughter, Pastor of St. Paul. “He is a hardworking, determined, humble, and very generous individual, especially when it comes to building the Kingdom of God on Earth.”

YTB is a home-based, internet travel service in which would-be travelers can purchase vacations, complete with air fare, hotel accommodations and car rentals, at discount prices. Hughes made his fortune as a representative who marketed YTB to others as a way to make good money. The idea took off and as they say, the rest is history.

Having recently reached Level 5 Director with YTB, Hughes is a star in the company. Married to wife Charlayne for 22 years, the couple has two children and enjoys taking frequent vacations. After their first discounted vacation (an anniversary trip to Hawaii ), the couple was hooked on the business. "It was a dream-come-true type of vacation for us - we had never been there, and we had a blast," said Hughes. "We stayed in a four-star hotel - it had an indoor pool and a Jacuzzi in the room....it had everything. It only cost us $360 a person because of YTB."

A true family man, Hughes provides opportunities for he and his wife’s family members through the business. He has also dedicated himself to two inner-city schools in Macon in an effort to help students who face obstacles to success.

Jerome Hughes insists that anyone can reach the level of success that he has with simple determination and perseverance. If you are interested in a successful business with YTB, please contact Hughes at 1-866-276-4702 or (478)737-2083.
