Lizzie Chapel Baptist Church, 1180 Bartlett Street , will sponsor Domestic Violence Awareness Month entitled, "Painting the Town Purple" Saturday, October 23, 2010 along with Central GA Council on Family Violence, Crisis Line, Safe House, Sonny Spoon and the Village Keepers Project.  "Painting the Town Purple will be an all day event starting with a Purple Pancake Breakfast at 9 a.m.  There will be several speakers, events for children, and the group One Third will be the featured guest.  All activities are free and open to the public.
