Robins Federal Credit Union Raises over
$10,000 for Cancer Research

Robins Federal Credit Union’s Bibb County branches raise $10,979.77 for the Bibb County Relay for Life.

Robins Federal Credit Union recently held fundraisers in branches across the mid-state in order to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

 Robins Federal Credit Union branches in Bibb County created teams, raised funds and participated in their county's Relay for Life events. Over 20 employees participated in Bibb County's events where team Robins Federal was able to present at check for $10,979.77.

Robins Federal branches hosted cookouts and breakfasts, sold candy bars and held other fundraisers in the months leading up to the Relay for Life events in each county. Funds raised will be used to fight cancer through research, education, patient services, advocacy and rehabilitation. Relay for Life is a community event to celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones, and fight back against this disease.

 Robins Federal Credit Union is a local non-profit financial cooperative with nineteen branches in central Georgia. Robins Federal currently provides financial services to over 142,000 members, with assets exceeding $1.7 billion. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the 16 counties Robins Federal serves.
