Center Hill Baptist Church Celebrates Membership Growth With Groundbreaking For New Building
by Amanda Smith

Church leader Pastor Leroy Reeves, Jr., along with members of Center Hill Baptist Church, gathered together on April 23, 2011 at 12 noon for the official groundbreaking ceremony for their new building, scheduled to be finished in 12 months or sooner.
The groundbreaking, which took place directly behind the current location of Center Hill Baptist Church on Cedar Avenue in Macon, Georgia, was an exciting move for the church, whose membership rolls and attendance has grown tremendously over the years.
"We have 717 members on our membership roll," said Pastor Reeves, "and 515 active members. Between 350 and 400 members attend every Sunday and our current building is simply not big enough anymore." Pastor Reeves has been preaching at Center Hill Baptist Church for 22 years.
The current church sanctuary will be renovated into a fellowship hall and the fellowship hall downstairs will be converted into four classrooms.
Pastor Reeves and his congregation at Center Hill Baptist Church invite the public to join them in worship at the following location and times.
