The Georgia State NAACP Conference Executive Board recently met and elected Cartese Dillard, former NAACP Macon Branch President and District 11 Coordinator, as the Georgia State Conference NAACP Membership Chairperson for Georgia .
“I am very energized about the opportunity to work to execute effective goals for each NAACP branch in Georgia to enhance membership with particular attention on membership retention. Membership is a fundamental function for any organization, said Dillard.
“As president, I worked diligently with other members to recruit new members for the Macon-Bibb County Branch, and for the first time in the history of the Macon Branch NAACP membership improved by 35%, according to Dillard.
On June 7 th Cartese Dillard will facilitate a statewide membership training session for all chairpersons and co chairpersons for each NAACP Branch in Georgia at Outreach Mission Church of God, 10:00 A.M. , 2140 Montpelier Avenue . June 27-29 has been designated as the Georgia State Conference membership drive weekend.
