"Since returning to City Council in 2005, I am proud to say that I have represented my constituents very well by being in a position to put $6.5 million in reserve and we now have a $4 million fund balance. We had nothing in reserve when I returned and this has been in just four short years," said Cranford. "We have also bought 30 police cars a year with new radios, cameras and firearms and bought new equipment for the Fire Department and for both Parks and Recreation and Public Works. We have lowered taxes and saved the city millions of dollars. My contribution has been to help run the budget process efficiently."
