Margaret DeFrancisco

President/CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corporation

In 2004, Margaret became the second President/CEO in the Georgia Lottery Corporation's history.  She joined the Georgia Lottery after serving as Director of the New York State Lottery, a tenure during which the New York Lottery led the nation in sales and profits, making it the largest lottery in North America.  Prior to joining the lottery industry, she was appointed Executive Deputy Commissioner of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, and in 1993, she was elected Monroe County (NY) clerk.  Before entering government service, Margaret spent 12 years as owner of a commercial printing company located in Rochester, New York.
