Thelma Wyatt Moore

Fulton County Superior Court Judge

 

Having served the bench, bar community, state, and nation as Fulton County Superior Court Judge for over 29 years, Judge Moore is a study in achievement.  In March of 2006, she formed the Fulton County Drug Task Force where she sits as Chair.  She also serves on the Mission Board of the Joseph Lowery Institute for Justice and Human Rights at Clark Atlanta University and Co-Chair of the Criminal Justice Component of the Dellums Commission of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies.  In September of 2006, she was awarded the Thurgood Marshall Award for "extraordinary committment and personal contribution to the advancement of civil rights and for being a role model for members of the bench and bar."
