Hubbard, a telecommunications analyst for the Southern
Company, said he was angling for fish in Carroll County with his
11-year-old son when he stopped for sodas and purchased the winning
ticket.
Stop
‘N Shop Express, 10 W. Ga. Highway 5, in Whitesburg sold the lucky
ticket.
“I was
jumping up and down in the store,” he said. “The retailer shook my
hand.”
Hubbard and his wife, LaTonya, have two children ages 13 and
11.
He
said he has not yet decided how he’ll spend his winnings.
“Winning is a shocking feeling,” he said.

Scholarship Program and Georgia ’s Prekindergarten Program. More
than 1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 790,000
4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten
program.
