Hephzibah Woman Dreams Lucky Numbers And Wins $93,000

A Hephzibah woman’s dream has come true. Shunda Palmer won $93,347 in the Sept. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing after seeing numbers in a dream.

“I dreamt the winning numbers,” Palmer said. “I just remember some numbers in a dream.”

Winning numbers for the Sept. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 6-12-32-35-37. Palmer purchased her top prize ticket at Pop’s Kuntry Store, located at 3780 Farmers Bridge Road in Hephzibah.

“I went in the store to pick up a printout of the results, and the clerk said the winning numbers were purchased there,” Palmer explained. “So I went home and checked my ticket because I just felt like it might be me.”

Palmer, 32, said she plans to buy a new vehicle and share some of her prize with her parents.

Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 top prize tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Pop’s Kuntry Store will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $4,000.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $9.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia ’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia ’s Prekindergarten Program. More than 1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 790,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
