Larry Haynes played the Georgia
Lottery instant game Cashword and won
$30,000
Chevron Food Mart, located at 1681
Rocky creek Road in Macon, sold the lucky top prize
ticket.
Haynes, 38, works as a heavy equipment cab
operator. He and his wife, Pamela, have three
children.
According to Haynes, he is looking forward to
purchasing a new car.
“I’m going to pay bills, and I definitely plan to
get another car,” he shared.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery
Corporation has returned over $9 billion to the state of
Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific
educational programs including Georgia ’s HOPE
Scholarship Program and Georgia ’s Prekindergarten
Program. More than 1 million students have received
HOPE, and more than 790,000 4-year-olds have attended
the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten
program.
