A
Macon
man said he was destined to win the lottery. Charlie
Cooper, 52, matched all five winning numbers in the June
18 Fantasy 5 drawing and won the $42,464 top
prize.
The
research lab technician said his dream has come
true.
"It was a good
day," Cooper said about the day he won. "I was hoping
I'd win, and I did."
He purchased the Quik Pik ticket at
Jenish Food Mart, 5220 Jeffersonville Road in Dry
Branch. Winning
numbers from the June 18 drawing were: 26-27-28-35-39.
Cooper checked his numbers on the Georgia Lottery Web site.
"I had a fit," the father of four
said. "I almost fell out."
He has four daughters, ages 28, 27 and
14-year-old twins. Cooper shared that he plans to use
his winnings to pay bills and take his daughters
on vacation.
