A lucrative, legacy bound career in photography is underway for one Central High School teenager. Ayreanna Hollins is her name and already the 16 year old entrepreneur is capturing memorable moments as the owner of Recaptured Media.

Hollins and photography found each other first as a middle schooler when she asked her mother, Dr. Dianna Hollins of Dr Dianna Global Enterprises, for her deceased father Dan Hollins’ camera. Photography was his hobby according to Dr. Hollins and his daughter has followed in his footsteps. It was her first time capturing images and set her on her current career course. “My mom always told me not to sit on something that can make me money and expand myself. That was one of the reasons I started the business. ,” Ayrenna shared.

Since starting the business the younger Hollins has become a sensation at her school and beyond. At Central she is overseeing the photography for the 2025-2026 yearbook. Her business is going well despite juggling International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, dual enrollment at Central Georgia Technical College, and a plethora of church, school, and community commitments.

Aryreanna was in demand even before starting the business, but secured her first official client as a 15 year old. She has become very proficient in her craft photographing everything from weddings, to special events, to sports. The teen is impacting her field and inspiring other youth observing her. “Anything you can think of, I know how to photograph it,” she stated.

Recaptured Media is not a fly by night operation. It’s an incorporated, licensed business. Ayreanna is a member of a photography association, suggesting that she is serious about her profession. While her mother helped her with establishing a legitimate business, she runs it. “I’ve been doing photography for a while. But now I’m getting paid to do it. It’s something that I love, it allows me to be flexible and it allows me to create the path I want for myself,” said the young professional.

College is a goal for Aryreanna where she plans to major in fine arts and explore business management as well. Eventually she wants a production studio and to produce plays. Teaching others the art of photographing is a must too she says and mentoring aspiring young entrepreneurs is planned – which mirrors how she has benefitted from the professional tutelage of Macon photographer Lamar Lundy Harvey. “I am lucky to have this ability and business,” she said.

For potential youth entrepreneurs Ayreanna suggested, “Research what you love to do and just do it. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.” Her mom added, “It’s good to love what you do, but it’s good to learn what you love. Your potential is more powerful than your fears.”
