The National Environmental Action Network, a nonprofit organization created by Millionaire Philanthropists Lewis Ross Brown, DSc and Shamira A. Brown, PhD, has set up a virtual office in the Greater Macon and surrounding areas. This organization is dedicated to assisting individuals who were recently terminated from federal government employment by the Trump Administration. We are assisting these individuals in locating and securing remote employment as consultants (depending on their positions while working as federal civilian servants) with global consulting companies across the world. The pay is great and the positions are 99.98%.
Additionally, this organization, under the guidance of renowned Environmental Toxicologist and Risk Assessor Lewis Ross Brown, DSc, has set up a Drone Environmental Health program. This program is used for testing for the water, soil, and air in the Greater Macon and surrounding areas. Basically, the drones are aerial and can close enough to contaminated water bodies and collect samples of water using syringes and/or micropipettes with automatic droppers and picker uppers to collect these samples. These syringes and micropipettes come with program dial setters to ensure accuracy. This program aims to identify, track, and ultimately eliminate the following pollutants found in air, water, and soil:
A. PFAS
B. PCBs
C. VOCs
D. Inorganic mercury
E. Selective insecticides
F. Selective herbicides
G. Inorganic Arsenic and Lead
H. GHG and Methane(mainly from air analysis)
The soil samples will be collected by automation scoopers attached to the Drones. The water, air, and soil samples will be collected via Drones and flown to our lab for analysis. NEAN intends to educate the general public on the contaminants found in each medium in terms of their ecotoxicological effects on terrestrial and aquatic animals and plants and the toxicological effects on humans.
Moreover, Shamira A. Brown, PhD, the CFO of the National Environmental Action Network, has set up a virtual Grant-writing and RFP writing course for all who are interested. The course begins on September 9, 2025, at 8:00 PM EST/ 7:00 PM CST. The courses will be offered 9-16-weeks and we will teach the fundamentals of Grant-writing and how to create fundable grants and endowments.
NEAN also has created a funded base by which the “Meals On Wheels” programs and other feeding programs terminated by the Trump administration will be revived with no federal government funding, but high levels of Private grants, funding, and endowments.
